About
Hi, I'm Aadit.
I built Versus Training because I got tired of using three apps and a notebook to track one training week.
I weight train three days a week, do MMA three days, throw in a few cardio sessions, hit one HIIT workout, and stretch after every session to keep my flexibility. Apple Watch tracked recovery. Hevy handled my lifts. Cardio was a virtual treadmill app for incline walking, or just Apple Watch data when I ran. MMA went in a notebook. Three apps and a notebook, none of them talking to each other, none of them aware that the reason my squat felt terrible on Tuesday was because I trained MMA hard the night before.
So I started building one app that does all of it. Loggers for combat, strength, endurance, sport, and mobility. Readiness pulled from HealthKit. A coach (Sensei) that actually knows what I trained, when I last slept badly, and what's coming this week.
The hybrid problem.
The fitness app market is built in silos. Lifting apps for lifters, running apps for runners, recovery apps that bolt on top. Nobody serves the athlete whose week is "lift Monday, BJJ Tuesday, run Wednesday, lift Thursday, BJJ Friday, recover Saturday."
That athlete is real. Fighters cross-train strength and conditioning. Lifters add BJJ. Runners pick up lifting once they get hurt enough times. The reason nobody serves us is that building for one modality is way easier than building for five. I decided to build the harder thing.
Solo.
No co-founder. No team. No VC. Just me, an iPhone, Xcode, and a lot of opinions about what training apps should do. I shipped every line: iOS app, watchOS app, backend, this website, the privacy policy.
This isn't a flex; it's a contract. If you find a bug, you're emailing the person who can fix it. If you want a feature, you're talking to the person who decides whether to build it. No support tier to escalate through.
How to reach me.
aadit@versus24.net. I read everything. Usually reply within a few hours.
If something in the app feels off, tell me. That's how the next version gets less wrong.
